Pizza lunch is a School Council fundraiser. Pizza lunch is offered every third Friday during the school year (Thursday where Friday is a PA day or holiday). All work is done by volunteers and all proceeds go to benefit our Bowmore students. Funds raised are used to pay for items such as science enrichment in the classroom, author visits, sports uniforms, school clubs, music and theatre performances, and more. Pizza lunch also helps to support the Bowmore Cares fund, ensuring that all students are able to participate.
If you need financial support in ensuring your kids have access to pizza lunch, please reach out to Mr. Flegas (Konstantinos.Flegas@tdsb.on.ca)
For information on how to order and pizza pricing, check out the Pizza Lunch Fundraiser FAQ
To volunteer please email bowmoresc@gmail.com. The time commitment is approximately 45 minutes from 11:15 am to noon on pizza lunch day.

The Grade 8 Graduation Committee is dedicated to planning a memorable and inclusive send-off for our graduating students as they transition from elementary school to high school. Our goal is to ensure every student can participate in the celebration and feel proud of their accomplishments.
This year, the committee has been actively organizing a variety of initiatives to support the graduation festivities, including:
Fundraising Events: Candy grams, bake sales, Purdy’s Easter Chocolate fundraiser, chip and freezie sales, and Subway lunch fundraisers for intermediate students.
Grad Hoodie Sales: Students voted on two design options. They will be distributed in early June.
The Clap Out: Scheduled for June 24th, the whole school will gather to cheer on our Grade 8s as they make their symbolic exit from Bowmore.
Grad Gifts: Thoughtful keepsakes will be presented to each student following the Clap Out.
Graduation Reception: Held in the school gym immediately after the graduation ceremony on June 25th, this event brings together students, staff, and caregivers to celebrate achievements and say goodbye.
Get Involved
We’d love your help! There are still many ways to support the celebration—whether it’s delivering chips and freezies to classrooms, wrapping grad gifts, decorating the gym on graduation morning, or attending the Clap Out.
